Un Na is a Vice President and leader of the Platform Development Group of IMNEWRUN. He brings over 18+ years of profound experience at the crossroads of basic life science and biotechnological innovation. Specializing in biochemistry, structural biology and medicinal chemistry, his group is instrumental in advancing IMNEWRUN’s mission and vision by establishing core bioplatform technology aimed to deliver diverse therapeutics across the Blood-Brain Barrier.​ Before joining IMNEWRUN in 2022, Dr. Na spent a pivotal year as the Head of Research and Development at ImpriMed Korea, Inc. In this role, he contributed to the creation of Artificial Intelligence models for personalized precision medicine, extending his expertise to building bioassays that collected data from cancer patient ex vivo tissues. Prior to his tenure at ImpriMed Korea, Dr. Na served as a principal scientist in the Analytical Method Development group at Samsung Bioepis for five years. During this period, he played a key role in leading the analytical function for three late-stage biosimilar pipelines, two early-stage pipelines, and a best-in-class drug candidate program. His leadership and contribution were integral in securing FDA and EMA approvals and facilitating the commercialization of two biosimilar pipelines.​ Dr. Na holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in biochemistry from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. He earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, where he focused on membrane protein complex assembly and protein quality control. Dr. Na did a Postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, further enhancing his expertise in these critical areas of study.​
